Neurobridge was the first iteration of what is now Research Grid (R.grid). It was the first software that supports researchers with the tools to streamline PPIE and widen access to research to improve outcomes and capture impact. The software sought to bridge research and real user engagement to improve healthcare research and technical validation in a standardised way.
It used a combination of tools and functionality enable it to fit seamlessly into the existing infrastructure of research institutions and companies. For example, improving protocols, technology validation, or after-care patient compliance from target beneficiary groups – saving time, resources and funding, whilst capturing research impact in a standardised way. It is now only one component of a larger AI-software system, R.grid.
